Solar Flares and Migraine Headaches

You probably already know what solar flares are. Those violent explosions in the Sun’s atmosphere release huge bursts of energy that can match that of millions of hydrogen bombs released in unison. Solar flares heat the Sun’s gas to temperatures of many millions of kelvins. They speed up electrons, protons, and ions to near the speed of light, and produce tremendous electromagnetic radiation.

Sun flares affect geomagnetic fields, but what do they have to do with migraine headaches? Are there such things as solar flares migraine headaches?

Clinical Depression Runs in the Family – How Do You Deal With It?

I recognized that something was wrong about the time I was 20 years old. At the time I was serving as a missionary for my church in Europe in the country of Hungary. I was speaking fluent Hungarian and doing something that I dreamed of most of my life. My religion and missionary experiences are for another article. Right now I want to focus on my struggle with clinical depression, a disease that affects a large amount of people. My goal is to give a little bit of hope to somebody out there that they can know that, first, they are not alone, and second, there is a way to beat it.

Understanding Asthma Medicine

Asthma medicine helps prevent the symptoms of asthma that inhibit the possibility of doing activities that you want to when you want to do them. Symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing can be prevented completely or to some degree by using the correct asthma medication. There are generally two types of asthma medicine – controllers and relievers.

Controllers are typically used every day, sometimes twice a day. Controllers prevent asthma symptoms, asthma attacks, and lung damage by relaxing and widening the airways in the body. Some also reduce swelling of the airways. Controllers should not be used to relieve asthma symptoms. Controller medication is most often inhaled and side effects may include fast heartbeat, nervousness, headaches, and hoarseness or coughing.
