The Ulster Local History Trust is currently not in a position to provide grants but will resume this facility for the local history community as soon as possible. - 23/11/2008

It is the Trust’s objective to use its limited funds to enable projects which would otherwise have difficulty in happening at all. Evidence of expenditure and the permanent dedication to local history of the supported project is required.

The Trust has assisted over a hundred local historical projects in the nine counties of Ulster during the last ten years. Every application is considered on an individual basis and in relation to the resources available at the time. The following random examples are given simply to provide an impression of the Trust’s area of operation. New ideas are always welcome.
