When I am home and down I tend to play my music. Music has always been my biggest cure in life. I can play whatever kind of music I am in the mood for and tend to let my emotions release one way or another.
There are times when I might be a little mad, I find it is those times when I tend to go out and shop. I find that spending a little money I wouldn’t normally spend makes me feel better. Not a great habit, but it works.
When I feel anxious, I clean and clean and clean and clean.
Then, of course, there are those times when I just need peace and quiet to get my head on the right path. These times are probably my most critical and I really just need to be left alone for awhile and sort things out.
When you look at say your family for example, everyone has a habit they acquire over time that eases there anxiety and emotions. My mother in law use to eat chocolate which I think is very common, my sister cleans, my one daughter goes in her room alone, and my husband finds any work he can do around the house.
It is kind of funny when you think of what it takes for us to feel better. We can’t wait for it to really happen so we go find or do something to comfort us until we are once again ourselves.
Now that I have got you thinking, I am sure you are laughing at the pictures running through your head on yourself, friends, and your family.
